PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST:
Monticello Country Club is holding it’s first annual pumpkin carving contest! The contest is open to all individuals and families. The category is ANYTHING GOES! Judging will take place during Halloween Carnival – Saturday, October 17th and winners will be announced at 7:30 p.m. that evening.
Prizes are as follows:
1st Place….. $25
2nd Place….. $15
3rd Place….. $10

The SEARK Concert Association
The Southeast Arkansas Concert Association will host a fundraising “Party Book” party at the club on Tuesday, April 7th starting at 6:30 pm. A number of supporters of SEARK have donated items to be listed in the “Party Book”. The items, such as a dinner, golf trip, specialty food, swimming party, guided duck hunt, Razorback football tickets, Tunica get-a-way, Karaoke party, spa treatments, etc, will be available for purchase from the “Party Book”. Wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served during the two hour event. For more details or to request a “Party Book” listing the items for sale, call the SEARK office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at 870-460-1012.

Monticello Men’s Golf News
Dues are due by the January meeting. The MGA dues for 2009 are $25.00 if paid by the January meeting, after that date the amount goes to $35.00. Dues must be current in order to play in MGA sponsored golf events. ASGA dues of $15.00 are also due by the January meeting. You must be a member of ASGA to post handicap scores. Payments can be made in person to Mike Breedlove at Merchant and Planters Insurance or by mailing to:
